First Set of Series

MDC Baseball has concluded the first round of the Southern Conference three-game series against Eastern Florida, Florida Southwestern, and Indian River.

The MDC Sharks kick off the Southern Conference with a three-game series against Eastern Florida State College.
Game1:
The Sharks played their first game against the Titans on March 8. The Sharks won the first game with the final score of 5-0. During the first game, Richard Benitez had two runs, two RBIs, and batted .500. Carlos Nolasco went 1-0, 0.000 ERA with seven scoreless innings of one-hit ball, walking none and sticking out five players. Carlos was named FCSAA Pitcher of the Week based on his performance.
Game 2
The second game was on March 10, and the Sharks won game 2 with the final score of 8-1. During this game, Richard Benitez batted .750 with two runs, Wooyeoul Shin batted .500 with one run and two RBIs, and Max Galvin batted .600 with one run and one RBI.
Game 3:
The third game was on March 11, and the Sharks won game 3 with the final score of 20-7. During this Game 3, Richard Benitez batted 100 with two runs and three RBIs. Also, Max Galvin batted .800 with three runs and three RBIs, and Wooyeoul Shin batted .800 with three runs and four RBIs.

MDC Sharks won this series. Wooyeoul Shin was named FCSAA Player of the Week based on his performance doing this series. Wooyeoul batted .583 with four runs scored, two doubles, two home runs, and six RBIs.

The MDC Baseball team took on their next opponent, which was Florida Southwestern, in a three-game series.

Game 1:
The first game was on March 15 at the Kendall Campus. The Sharks lost against the FSW with the final score of 5-2. Joseph Zamora and D'angelo Ortiz batted .500, and JosephXamora and Alex Ulloa had one RBI.

Game 2:
Game 2 took place on March 17 in Fort Myers. The Sharks won Game 2 with the final score of 8-3. Wooyeoul Shin batted .500 with three runs and two RBIs. Max Gavin batted .600 with two runs and one RBI.

Game 3:
Game 3 took place on March 18 at the Kendall Campus. The Sharks lost against the Buccaneers, with the final score of 9-6. Wooyeoul Shin batted .600 with two runs and one RBI. During this game, Wooyeoul hit his tenth home run of the season.

Unfortunately, MDC Sharks lost this series.

The MDC Baseball team took on their next opponent, Indian River State College, in a three-game series.

Game 1:
Game 1 took place on March 22 at Fort Pierce, FL. The Sharks lost against the Pioneers with the final score of 9-8. Max Galvin batted .500 with three runs. Richard Benitez batted 100 with one run and one RBI.
D'Angelo Ortiz batted .600 with one home run and three RIBs.

Game 2:
MDC Sharks played their second game against the Pioneers at the Kendall Campus. The Sharks won against the Pioneers with the final score of 8-2. Jose Andara batted .600 with one run and three RBIs. Jose Hernandez batted .500 with two runs, one RBI, and one home run. Richard Benitez batted .750 with one run.

Game 3:
MDC Sharks played their third game against the Pioneers at Fort Pierce, FL, on March 25. The Sharks lost against the Pioneers with the final score of 8-5. Wooyeoul Shin batted .400 with four RBIs and one home run. Max Gavin batted .600 with two runs. D'angelo Ortiz batted .500 with one run.

MDC Sharks lost this series against the Pioneers.
