Miami Dade College Sharks Victory Over Pensacola State College

MDC Sharks defeated Pensacola State College 11-3 on May 5.

The MDC Sharks had an early lead with six runs in the second inning. In the second inning, the Sharks scored one run on a single by Geremy Garcia. Max Galvin hit a home run, which allowed the Sharks to score three runs. D'Angelo Ortiz hit a single, allowing the Sharks to score two runs.

The MDC Sharks tallied 13 hits with two home runs. Herick Hernandez was the winning Pitcher for MDC Sharks. Herick went six innings, allowing one run on four hits and striking out nine. Max Galvin had a dinger in the second and fifth innings and went 3-for -4 at the plate. Max drove in runs on a home run in the second inning, a double in the third inning, and a home run in the fifth inning.
