Cian Copeland heads to the U
After a standout freshman campaign with Miami Dade , third baseman Cian Copeland is headed to the University of Miami to continue his baseball career.
Manning the hot corner for the Sharks in 2024-25, Copeland was a force in the lineup, hitting .361 with 69 hits, 11 doubles, and 15 home runs in 52 games. He drove in 51 runs, scored 71 times, and posted an impressive .449 on-base percentage with a .654 slugging mark. His speed also added an extra dimension to his game, swiping 10 bases on the year.
Copeland's combination of power, consistency, and athleticism made him one of the most dangerous hitters in the NJCAA. Now, he'll bring that offensive firepower and defensive presence to Coral Gables, joining a Hurricanes program competing in the ACC and looking to make noise on the national stage.
