Bio
Adrian Morales enters his fourth season with the Sharks now as the Head coach. As a player, Coach Morales helped Miami Dade win back-to-back Southern Conference championships under Head Coach Steve Hertz from 2008-2009. In 2008, he was named First Team All-Southern Conference and First Team All-State. As a sophomore, Morales was drafted by the Houston Astros, but elected to attend the University of South Carolina on a baseball scholarship.
At South Carolina, Morales helped the Gamecocks win back-to-back national championships. In 2010, Morales was named regional MVP and in 2011 he was drafted in the 49th round by the Kansas City Royals.
Morales played in the Royals’ organization for two years. In 2013, Morales went back to the University of South Carolina as a student assistant coach to obtain his bachelor’s degree. In the summer of 2014 Morales obtained his B.A in criminal justice. After college Morales became a high school baseball coach and coached at Coral Gables Senior High School from 2015-2016. Hired here at Miami Dade College as assistant head coach with focuses on Hitting and recruiting in 2016.
