Boutayeb is a Bronc

Big man Alaaeddine Boutayeb is making his way back to Division 1 after signing with Rider University. Boutayeb started his career at Arkansas State University under former head coach and current Miami Dade College Director of Athletics, Mike Balado. During his brief stint in Miami, the Moroccan big averaged 10.9 points and 7.4 rebounds per game.

He will join a Broncs squad that went 12-8 in conference play throughout the year and fell just two points short to the St. Peter's Peacocks in the MAAC Championships. Boutayeb will also join former Miami Dade Shark, Tyriek Weeks in New Jersey in hopes to form a formidable tandem of former Sharks at the NCAA level.
