Bio
Qua Alexander, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, began his high school journey at Kell High School. He continued his athletic career at Kankakee Community College, where he helped the team achieve a Top 20 National Ranking and secure both a Regional and Conference Championship. Following his time at Kankakee, Coach Alexander attended Robert Morris University, where he played a key role in winning another Conference Championship while studying Exercise Sports Science.
After college, Coach Alexander returned to Kell High School as an Assistant Coach, guiding the team to an Elite 8 Appearance. His coaching career extended to the AAU girls’ basketball scene, where he co-founded the Tri-State Pride Basketball Club. The program has been instrumental in developing players and helping them secure collegiate opportunities.
Before joining the Miami Dade Sharks in the Fall of 2024, Coach Alexander served as an Assistant Coach at Trinidad State, where the team enjoyed a highly successful season, winning the Region 9 Championship, finishing with a 25-7 overall record, going 10-2 in conference play, earning a top 20 National Ranking, and qualifying for the NJCAA National Tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas.
