Bio

Gianluca Rossi is a driven and detail-oriented football coach with a strong record of developing talent and elevating team performance at both the youth and senior levels. He is joining the Miami Dade College men’s soccer coaching staff—a program that made headlines by reaching the NJCAA National Tournament in its first season back—bringing his experience, energy, and player-first philosophy to an already elite group of coaches.

Currently the Head Coach at Pinecrest Premier SC, Gianluca leads the UPSL senior team and youth squads, focusing on technical growth, tactical intelligence, and building strong character both on and off the field. His previous coaching roles include leadership positions at Atlético Madrid Miami, Doral Soccer Club, and Doral Academy Prep, where he consistently built cohesive teams and created supportive yet competitive environments.

Fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian, Gianluca thrives in multicultural settings and connects easily with players from diverse backgrounds. He holds a USSF D License and a USSF C License (June 2024), and is currently pursuing his UEFA FAW C Certificate (September 2024) and UEFA B License (July 2025).

With a bachelor’s degree in Pre-Med Biology from Florida International University, Gianluca brings an analytical edge to his coaching, blending preparation, adaptability, and a deep understanding of performance development to help players reach their full potential.
