Manami Calixto is an All-American Again

After a stellar season and multiple accolades MDC Softball's pitcher Manami Calixto was named to the NJCAA All-American 2^nd Team and the 2015 NJCAA D1 Softball Championship All-Tournament Team. This past season M. Calixto received numerous honors such as FCSAA First Team All- Conference, Southern Conference Pitcher of the Year, FCSAA All- Tournament Team, and 2015 All- Tournament Fast-Pitch Softball MVP. Calixto earned these awards by helping her team finish 34-21, become Southern Conference Champions, finish as the FCSAA Softball State Tournament Runners- Up, and finishing 5^th in the nation in the NJCAA Softball Division 1 National Tournament. Calixto excellent play this season was highlighted during the biggest moments. In the FCSAA State Tournament she went 4-2 with an ERA of 1.74 during the six games that the Sharks played.
