Southern Conference Runner-up

Miami Dade College would like to congratulate the Lady Sharks Softball program for clinching a State Tournament berth. The Sharks have completed their regular season in fashion with a final pair of wins over the Titans of Eastern Florida State College with a final score of 4-2 and 14-10. The Lady Sharks were tied in conference play with the Pioneers of Indian River State College but the Pioneers defeated the Sharks to clinch the Southern conference title. The Sharks are currently 18-19 overall and 10-7 in conference play.

The Sharks are 9th seed in the state of Florida and will head into the State Tournament held in Longwood, FL at the Soldiers Creek Complex, the tournament held from May7th-May10th.
