Jaiveonna Norris NJCAA Division 1 & Region 8 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week

After playing at Western Kentucky University and being a member of the Hilltoppers who won the 2015 Conference USA Championship, and played in the 2015 Women’s NIT Championship game Sophomore Jaiveonna Norris made a name for herself before she peven playing a single minute under Head Coach Susan Summons.

After playing at Western Kentucky University and being a member of the Hilltoppers who won the 2015 Conference USA Championship, and played in the 2015 Women's NIT Championship game Sophomore Jaiveonna Norris made a name for herself before she peven playing a single minute under Head Coach Susan Summons. That all changed this past Saturday, October 31, 2015 when Norris tallied 30 points, 12 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 assist against Hillsborough Community College. Jaiveonna Norris "shot 66.7 percent (12-of-18) from the floor and hit all three of her three-point attempts" (FCSAA). After her first start as a Lady Shark Norris was named the NJCAA Region 8 Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
