Lady Sharks Hoops Receives Southern Conference Honors
The Lady Sharks overall record for the 2017-18 regular season is 22-8 and 11-1 in conference play. MDC finished first in conference.

Six players on the Miami Dade College women's basketball team were acknowledged by the FCSAA for their play on the court during the 2017-18 season. The players received All-Southern Conference First and Second Team honors.
1st Team All-Southern Conference:
Diedra Harris
Cheah Rael Whitsitt
2nd Team All-Southern Conference:
The Lady Sharks overall record for the 2017-18 regular season is 22-8 and 11-1 in conference play. MDC finished first in conference. The Lady Sharks will travel to Ocala, FL next week to compete in the 2018 FCSAA Basketball State Tournament.
