Kiara enters her 16th season as a Volunteer Assistant Coach to the Women’s Basketball program.

Kiara has served the Miami Dade College community in multiple roles. She has served as a Testing Proctor, Test Examiner at the Kendall Campus for over 11 years. Kiara joined the campus Full-Time as a Pre-College Advisor in Student Services/Recruitment at Kendall Campus going on two years. Kiara provides campus tours, recruitment of students from multiple South Florida high schools, supervises events and event set-ups, serves as a speaker and presenter on MDC admission process.

Her dedication and commitment to the women’s basketball program, the college and the student success as a volunteer has been instrumental in their success in making trips to the FSCAA State Regional Women’s Basketball Juco Championships. She is an important component of the winning tradition, and positive culture developed over the years. Coach “K” provides assistance in areas such as, game day set-up, practice set-up, Kendall Campus Tours, monitor academic study table, MDC Housing inspection Reports, scouting, recruitment, Tryout assessments, game day and program operations and other administrative task as needed.

Kiara Redman holds an Associate in Arts Degree from Miami Dade College. In addition, she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Florida International University, graduating, cum laude from their virtual Sports Management program.
