Kiaraliz Perez named Region 8 Defensive Player of the Week for Second Time this Season

Join us in congratulating Kiaraliz Perez, our DI Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week! A sophomore defensive specialist at @mdcollege originally from Naranjito, Puerto Rico, this is Kiaraliz' second time being awarded this title! This week, she helped the Sharks to a record of 4-1, which included a pair of wins against nationally ranked opponents. In 17 sets, she averaged 6.4 kills and she recorded a trio of 18-dig efforts in addition to 23 vs. Southern Idaho and 31 vs. Central Wyoming. Amazing job this week, once again, Kiaraliz!
