Alexandra Koleva named Region 8 Setter of the Week

Join us in congratulating Alexandra Koleva, our DI Region 8 Volleyball Setter of the Week! A sophomore setter at @mdcollege originally from Sofia, Bulgaria, this is Alexandra's first time being awarded this title! This week, she helped the Sharks to a record of 2-0, which included a pair of wins against Suncoast Conference opponents. In six sets, she averaged 11.5 assists, 0.3 kills and 2.5 digs, posted a .667 hitting percentage. Alexandra had a 25-assist effort vs. Indian River State, she had 44 at Polk State. Amazing job this week, once again, Alexandra!
