#2 takes down #3
The Sharks continued their fantastic Friday afternoon, taking down #3 ranked Northeastern in straight sets.
From the start, Miami Dade displayed complete control of the game. The Sharks were led by Angelica Rodriguez, who delivered a spectacular performance with 10 kills on 17 attempts, hitting an outstanding .529. Luyeisy Marquez and Esthefany Rabit also made significant contributions, each registering 8 and 9 kills, respectively, with Rabit matching Marquez's efficiency at .533.
The first set saw Miami Dade quickly establish control, cruising to a 25-13 victory with a .423 hitting percentage. Northeastern struggled to find their footing, unable to generate any offensive momentum. The second set was more competitive, with Northeastern narrowing the gap to four points, but the Sharks consistent play allowed them to pull away for a 25-21 win. The Sharks closed out the match in the third set, with a dominant 25-17 scoreline and a .448 hitting percentage.
Maria Clara Antunes once again orchestrated Miami Dade's attack with 23 assists, while also contributing a service ace and three digs. Luana Borsatto was effective both offensively and defensively, adding 3 kills, 2 block assists, and 8 digs to her stat line.
